The service at Gerber was outstanding. Michele quickly followed up with FleetResponse and emailed me a time to drop off my vehicle. Michele said it would take 3 to 4 days and the vehicle was ready in 3 days! The follow up was outstanding both over the phone and through email. The vehicle looked great when the team was done with the repairs. I could not even tell where the work was done because it flowed so nicely with the rest of the vehicle. The staff even offered to help place items back into my car. I would highly recommend Gerber of Akron.

I brought my car into Gerber for some hail damage in the end of July. The manager, Rick, and Danielle were up front when i walked in and greeted me with smiles and how can we help you today. They even offered me coffee since it was early in the day. Very painlessly they assisted me in getting a claim started with state farm and had my car inspected. Before i knew it there was a man there from enterprise rent a car and i was on my way out of the door. Rick regularly updated me with phone calls and explained what was going on with my vehicle. Very professional and understanding about my inconvenience. The shop ended up needing to replace some things that they originally didn't intend on, so my car was there for a few extra days. After scraping the corner of the front bumper on our garage door frame, I took the car in for what I assumed would be a significant cost to paint the bumper. We were well treated in the office and turned over to Sean G. He looked at the damage and asked us to wait in the office. When called back out to the car, we found all the apparent damage gone with only a minor (unnoticeable) abrasion left. We happily left your shop with a clean bumper and a smile. We hope to never need your services again, but if we unfortunately do, you can bet we will get right there. Thanks for treating your customers well.

Rae and Ed were of great assistance. Rae took a look at my car and knew exactly what I needed to get back in the road again. In a very short time, I got my car back and they didn't even charge me. I was absolutely amazed at the speed (less than 1 week) of my accident repair (front fender, wheel, etc.) & the incredible workmanship. One would be hard pressed to see that there had been any damage to my vehicle. I commend the customer service I received by all personnel but most especially by George B. He explained everything clearly, pleasantly & professionally. I just recently recommended a friend, looking for an estimate regarding her car, to the Deland shop. I will be more than happy to continue recommending others to Gerber Collision. They made what was an unpleasant situation after my accident, much easier than I would've expected. I had been scheduled with another company in Orange Park to make repairs and they kept giving me delays on doing the work. I called Gerber, they scheduled me to come in the next day to get an estimate, contacted the insurance company and had the job reassigned to them, and then scheduled to get my SSR repaired for 2 days later. The job was fantastic. They also cleaned my truck and had it looking showroom quality. Wendy B.was fantastic. Because of her and the entire team there, I am taking in my other 2 vehicles to have minor dents repaired.
