April 23, 2012 - Gerber Collision & Glass, a member of the National Auto Body Council (NABC) has restored a vehicle as part of a nationwide vehicle donation program called Recycled Rides. Recycled Rides is a community awareness project whereby members of NABC repair and donate recycled vehicles to people in need. Gerber Collision & Glass is refurbishing a 2009 Chevy Cobalt, donated by Farmers Insurance.

March 19, 2012 -- The Boyd Group Inc. (the "Boyd Group") today announced the acquisition of a collision repair center in Marysville, Washington. The Boyd Group now owns and operates 12 locations in Washington, which brings the total number of U.S. locations to 139.

The new repair center, previously known as Body Craft Collision Center, will operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name and is approximately 12,200 square feet in size, with 10,000 square feet of production space. The center, previously known as Advanced Collision Solutions, was recently acquired by the Boyd Group and now operates under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name. A third center in Everett, Washington is expected to open next week.
