I've never been in a car accident so I was nervous about which place to choose to fix my car and praying I wouldn't get cheated (being that I know nothing at all about cars). My car looks better than it did before the accident and the price was exactly what they estimated! I always hear horror stories about how people end up paying way more than the estimated price, but that wasn't the case here. They took the time to find out what was really wrong with my car, made an estimate that was less than 3 other estimates I had gotten, and they charged exactly what they estimated. The repair manager Darrell Ferguson gave me a lot of great advice about my car and the entire staff was very helpful. My experience with Gerber was fantastic. Brent gave me the initial estimate. He was very friendly and professional and gave me all of the information that I needed. Camille at the front desk was very professional and helpful and warm to me and my children. I really appreciated how smoothly the drop off and pick up processes went, and I appreciated the help Gerber gave with communicating with the rental car company. The repair looks great. My biggest praise: I had my children with me when I was dropping off the car and picking it up. The folks at Gerber were so kind to the kids and so patient with me as I dealt with the car process and with attending to the kids. The day I was picking up was a very cold, rainy day, and Brent and another Gerber employee helped me move all of my stuff from the rental car to my vehicle in the bitter, cold ... rain. Brent even started my car for me a few minutes before I would return from the rental car place so that the kids and I would transfer into a warm car. The people with whom I dealt at Gerber went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Having a collision repair should have been just a big pain, but their kindness made the experience the positive highlight of my week. read more

Gerber Collision of Durham was very efficient and kind and attentive. They kept me updated the entire 31 days my car was in repair (except for the day I was to pick up my car). They were most helpful and the entire process was easy. The only glitch was at the very end when my car was not ready on time (not a problem) but I was not notified of this (not good). I waited all day for the phone call telling me it was ready. However, once I contacted them, they stepped back up and kept me informed until my car was ready 3 days later. I appreciated this response. I would recommend them to friends.

Very smooth experience, dropped my car on Monday, got into a rental, was updated during the repair by Suni, picked up my car today where I dealt with Jerry, the manager, who went over the repairs that had been done. They even fixed a dent in the door for me and cleaned my car! Thank you Gerber
