It was a pleasure to work with Gerber's from Oak Lawn. The shop was clean, the people were very friendly and the work was excellent. It was a great experience but I hope I never have to go there again.

"I used Gerber in the past and when I needed to have my car repaired at my expense, I contacted you again. I dealt with Pete Desmarais, who exemplifies the ultimate in customer service. Any time someone has car damage, they are stressed and upset. Pete handled everything in a professional calming manner and worked things out in a organized cost effective way. He gave great suggestions and made sure I felt at ease and comfortable. I, as a past corporate trainer for customer service, totally commend him for his caring attitude and going the extra mile. Because of employees like Peter, I will definitely utilize Gerber when needed and they will be highly "wreck" amended."

Great service provided at this facility! Joe Pyter made what, to me, was a catastrophy into a more pleasant experience. Joe kept me informed all through the repair process of my vehicle and encouraged me to call or stop by at any time if I had any questions and concerns. Joe is a true professional and a really good guy. When I came to pick up my vehicle, I was so unbelievably pleased at the workmanship and quality of the repairs that had been done. It looked brand new--just as it looked before my accident. I also must mention the customer service rep, June, who was the first person I spoke to after dropping my car off for repair. I was impressed with the level of communication that the Laura & Daniel provided. It was a perfect balance - I never wondered (at any time) what was happening with my vehicle. A phone call at each progression put me at ease. I truly believed that my vehichle was in the best hands at all times (not normal for me - I'm a worry wart). No cheezy sales tactics or trite responses. My vehicle was completed just under the quoted time-frame (even with a few obsticles). It looked beautiful. I had it 4 days (purchased brand new) and it looked like the day I drove it off the showroom floor - it still has that new car smell too!! Thanks for the incredible customer service - I've already started recommending your business to others.

I came in to get an estimate and was in and out so quickly and left very happy. Dave was friendly, professional and explained everything very well. I brought my car in to be fixed on Thursday and was told I would have it back Saturday. On Friday afternoon, they surprised me and said my car was done. When I picked it up it was fixed perfectly! You couldn't tell there had ever been anything wrong. On top of that they cleaned my car and the whole car looked brand new again including the tires. My husband surprised me and had them put on a pin stripe which looks cool. They did a great job on everything. I have been a customer of Gerber for years and recommend them to everyone.

Paul did the estimate and explained what they were going to do and why in detail. He also took us on a tour of the Gerber facility and explained what each station and person was responsible for doing to our car. Every question we had was explained in detail. The estimate indicated that it would take 4 days, but was done in 2. Matt the shop manager was the person that went over the car with us when we picked it up. Matt went over every aspect of the repair and answered all of our questions including warranty. We were impressed in respect to the time it took to repair our car, but also in the quality of the repair. It looks as good as new!

Don and his team were committed to finishing it on time along with hands on care. I would recommend this location to anyone. Price was fair with today's economy. who may be of need of this type of service.

Gerber did a beautiful job repairing our minivan after it was sideswiped. The replaced panels were seamlessly installed, the work was completed in a very timely fashion, and our car was returned to us cleaner than when we dropped it off! Terry Harn was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We will be using Gerber for any repairs in the future, and will highly recommend our friends and family to do the same!
