I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Of course, anyone who comes here has had something bad happen to their car so it's never a place you love to visit, but everyone was super friendly and accommodating. My car was done on time (4 days) and they even sent me text messages every day to tell me what was going on with my car. I loved that! I hate when you take your car in somewhere and you are frustrated because no one tells you the status of what's going on with your car. They washed and vacuumed my car before giving it back to me and it looked brand new when I went to pick it up. They were fast, friendly and i really loved the little text messages I would get! I hope I don't see them for a really long time but if I have to, I would take my car back here!

Oh My Gosh! When I picked up my car it was so Awesome! My husband had passed away and put a KONA sticker on the back of the car where all the repairs were made. Not only did the repair look AWESOME-they replaced the sticker!!! I was looking on-line for that exact sticker-nowhere to be found. The car was clean-inside and out. It was so beautiful, I thought I had a new car and its 11 years old. Hugh was great, the girl at the front desk so nice, personable and professional. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am. The repair was PERFECT, I mean PERFECT!! Thank you. . Thank you to everyone. Hugh handled the rental -extended days with Travelers, before he called me. I needed to do nothing, but drive the rental and wait for his calls., Hugh kept me involved thru the entire process. I have already told 5 people about this location. I've never been in an accident before (and hope not to again) and of course have heard so many nightmare stories of dealing with insurance companies, costly repairs and bad ones too. I have to say that this was a first for me. My car was hit while parked and to my suprise the guy who hit me left a note. I called him and got his insurance company. Not knowing where to take my car for repairs his insurance co. Farmers suggested Gerber in Norwood park il. Andi Molina settled me down and really took hold of what would happen. Andi was just great. I told her I would write a poem of my experience. So here it is. I was parked and my car got hit which made me feel blue But the guy who hit me left a note which I thought that was pretty cool Not being sure what to do Farmer's sent me to you They said Gerber collision in Norwood Park Are people who will work with you Andi Molina treated me right I knew my car was in good hand Gerber Collision fixed it like new Which left me feeling grand I can't say enought about Andi Moliina ... I am writing this today to share my unexpected, but wonderful experience at the Downers Grove, IL location yesterday. After a long day of work, I had accidentaly shut my care door on one of the pylons in the parking garage, which caused the bottom corner of my door to bend out. I drove straigt to Gerber Collision because I was familiar with the area, and hear the radio ads all the time. My intent was to obtain a quote, and was not going to involve the insurance company. The estimator assigned to my car was Gary Wilmoth. Gary had initially said in order to get the door perfect again, it would require repainting the door, etc. I had said my initial goal was just to get that corner bent back so that no one would cut themselves walking by my car. He asked me to wait a few moments, and then took me back to my car. I was amazed to see that the ... car was fixed! There is a little crease were the door had been bent, but it was put back in place and was hardly recognizable. I had asked Gary how much this will cost, and he told me it was no charge. I cannot tell you how much this turned my day from a nightmare to one with a good ending. If I am ever in need of repair work done on my car, I will absolutely bring it to Gerber. I did not realize this Gerber is a national company. I say that because everyone I had the pleasure of working treated me like they we a small company...really interested in my business!!! This is a good thing. I worked most closely with Marcie Mendez. She was wonderful. Prompt to respond to my questions and very flexible with my schedule. I would Wreck-ommend, (to use your word), this shop to anyone I may know that's need body/glass work in the area. I would also point someone needing a paint job you way, as the paint work/matching was perfect. Thanks for the great service. hal wood
