"Timothy Layne, Production Manager, at the Downers Grove facility provided warranty service that was beyond compare. Our car had substantial collision repairs done over two years ago. We encountered a problem with the drivers side door handle, and received a quote for repair from the dealer that seemed unreasonable. I called Gerber to see if this part would be covered by the Gerber Guarantee. Initially, I found out that this part was not replaced during our previous collision repair, so therefore, not covered by the warranty. Tim followed up with me a short time later and said that they would replace the part, " I just don't like to see people being taken advantage of - the repair/replacement quote the dealer gave to you was completely out of reason" Tim went out of his way to provide superior service. I would like to thank the team at Gerber (Downers Grove). From start to finish this process was as good of an experience as you can have when getting your car fixed. The team gave me a quick estimate, communicated status every couple days, and delivered 2 days early. They were very professional, courteous, and all around nice. The work done on my car was done to the highest standards. Getting your car repaired after an accident can be very intimidating, it is great to work with a team that takes the anxiety out of the process. Thank you!!!
