I had an extremely complex claim that took almost 18 months to resolve and involved 2 insurance companies and multiple rounds of estimates. It was an accident where I was not at fault and my insurance company told me to seek reimbursement through the liable party's insurance. In the end an employee who is no longer at Gerber ended up billing the wrong insurance company MINE and then coming after me for the deductible. After multiple email exchanges with the at fault insurance company and their adjuster, Gerber had still not been fully reimbursed for my claim, and Charlice F was given the responsibility to try and recover the remaining funds from me. I was very upset when I explained to her the full history of the claim and how I was not even the at fault party, that Gerber had billed the wrong insurance company. Despite my temper she was ... very professional and calm and worked with me to understand the claim history and what had been done. I shared the background with her and she immediately reached out to the at fault insurance company representative and was able to get the claim fully resolved on her first day of working on the claim. I just want to say that I have worked with many people at Gerber over the years and Charlice is the most competent, professional and kind representative I have worked with. She should be commended for her interpersonal skills and calm working with emotional customers (me). Please pass on my thanks for her kind handling of my case. read more
