I highly recommend Gerber Collision & Glass in Terrell, Texas. Everyone was very professional and helpful. They kept me up to date about the repairs to my pickup. They would answered any questions that I had. My pickup looks like new.

My son was in an accident over Christmas. Gerber was recommended by our insurance company. They were very kind and communicative thru the process. Took longer than anticipated but that's fine. My son had to go back to OK for college so when the truck was ready, my daughter and her friend returned it to him in OK. He immediately had issues so as soon as he was back for the summer, we took it back. They thought they fixed what the issues were but as soon as I left the lot, i took it to fill it with gas and the gasoline went everywhere! I drove it straight back and they kept it again. They ended up taking it to McWhorter's who said it would be almost $1000 to fix it and ins wasn't going to pay due to the amount of time between the wreck and now and there was no way to prove it was due to the wreck. I didn't agree, but, didn't have much ... choice so I paid for it and went on my way. Some time later, I got a call from Guy, the new manager of this area, who told me the damage was definitely related to the accident. He apologized and said if I'd send the McWhorter's receipt, they would take care of everything and fight with my insurance about it. They ended up convincing my insurance company that very same day that it was related and should be covered and I had the money back in my acct the next day! I was beyond surprised at this honesty and how forthcoming Guy was about the issues with the truck, etc. I'll recommend them to anyone as it's SO hard to find an honest company who wants to do right by their customers! To call me out of the blue after things had already been "resolved" and offer to make this right, is unheard of! It was such a relief and I've told several people about my experience. He kept me updated every step of the way, answered all of my questions, and made sure I always knew what was going on with my vehicle. His professionalism, communication, and attention to detail made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Great shop, secretary was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The main guy helped us with our car and even worked with us on the price/insurance payout. They figure out a way for you to pay as little as possible out of pocket. I even got actual .Toyota parts and not aftermarket. I already referred my dad to this shop and will refer anybody in need of auto body work. Usually you hear of auto shops taking advantage of people. This is not the case with Gerber. The guy sat us down, talked to us, and he ensured us that we would not overpay and would get the parts we wanted despite the insurance company refusing to pay for actual Toyota parts (insurance companies like to pay as little as possible so that includes aftermarket parts). I don't know how they managed to give us the good parts and still only pay the deductible, but they figured it ... out. I cannot say enough about this place. Take your car here because you will NOT get ripped off. read more

INCREDIBLE, AMAZING SERVICE!! Moses, the technician, & Manuel M, general manager, helped me on a late Friday afternoon, when I frantically arrived at Gerber with my DIY job that went terribly wrong resulting in the drivers' side door being unable to open and unlock due to my neglect to attach inner car door cables. Manuel quickly assessed the problem and gave the task to Moses. They were quick, considerate and ultra efficient in fixing my error. They had my door panel back in place with everything working within an hour! The superb and caring customer service I received on such short notice was extraordinary! With much gratitude, thank you Moses, Manuel & Gerber Collision & Glass!!
