Peter was very kind and helpful when I first dropped the car off. I did receive a lot of updates via phone calls and text messages, but sometimes the information was not as specific as I would have liked. Alice works very hard! I was hoping to get my car back quicker than I did, but after talking to some people the 3 weeks that it took is pretty much the norm. I went ahead and added rental car insurance to my plan. Oh, and the car that I got to rent for free for 5 days was great!

The technicians at Gerber did excellent work on the repair of damage to my car. I was hit by another driver and Gerber was given her insurance since she was a fault. Her insurance company decided to deny the claim and I had to use my insurance. This was not a problem and Gerber handled the change of insurance without a problem. The repair is invisible and I am very happy with the results. Alice called to update me regularly on the progress of the repair. The insurance adjuster (Peter Callaway) who looked at my car initially for the estimate was very professional and polite. I highly recommend Gerber Collision & Glass.

I scratched the side of my car and was expecting an expensive repair. Instead, the folks at Gerber we able to buff the majority of the problem away. I appreciated their straight forward approach and willingness to give me options. Jeff was very helpful. Gerber has always provided me with excellent service and quality repairs.

Our experience was A+ all the way along. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The repairs were completed quickly and the car looked like new. Since we were not using our insurance to pay for the repair, we were directed to a coupon to save us $100. I will definitely use the South Elgin location again and will refer others.

Your South Elgin, IL shop did a terrific job repairing my auto. They went above and beyond what I expected and I will go back there if I ever need a repair or glass work again. I will also refer them out as much as possible. Jeff was very good at explaining everything to me and even helped afterward when I couldn't figure out why my bright lights were not working.

I stopped in to receive an estimate to repair a scrape on my rear panel. They determined it was only a paint transfer and repaired on the spot and did not charge me! It is nice to know there are still honest and trustworth businesses around that don't take avantage of the customer.
