My brand new car was rear-ended. Gerber was recommended by the insurance company for the person who hit me. It was very conveniently located. They stayed in contact with me throughout the process of repair with reasonable timetables. When I picked up my care, ahead of schedule, it was beautiful. It looked and drove like a brand new car again.

I want to start with, Bill is awesome! My wife and I were in a car accident in April of 2012 and had the Round Lake Gerber do the collision work. The months following the accident we began to hear a tinny vibrating sound in the front of the vehicle (where the impact was). The sound would only happen once the vehicle would be warmed up and accelerating between 40-60 mph. After describing the sound to Bill we went on a test drive to diagnose the problem. Bill tried a few things that first day but nothing worked, he suggested I bring it back another day to look at it. The work that was done on that day did not fix the problem either. Bill then said I am going to give a rental, I will work on this until I find the problem and fix it. These Guys are Fantastic! I have never been more impressed with a body shop. They Kept me informed almost every step of the way and did the job Right....THE FIRST TIME! I had my E46 3 Series BMW Sedan "Fixed" at another body shop and the work was....less than satisfactory. They Addressed all of my concerns and rectified the whole thing...even stuff that I hadn't noticed that was wrong. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! Thanks a million!

The service was excellent, from the very nice girl on the phone, Ada, to the people who detailed my car. The job was so well done. Even I don't clean my car as well as they did. This is my second vehicle I have taken to Gerber Collision for repair. I usually have 1 to 2 cars a year that need repair work done. Previously I have used Carstar in Mundelein and I was happy to find a more ethical place to take my business. The previous company never stood behind any issues that came up from poor craftmanship.
