My car was in a front right side fender that did a lot of interior damage, also when I brought the car it had I dent in the back left side door and on the passenger side door. I brought my car to Gerber Collision and the whole car fixed which included both doors front of the car and paint job. When I came and picked up my car it looked off the lot new and it was running better than when I got the car from the car lot.

I was referred to Garber by my insurance Co. and was given an appt. for an estimate within a few days. When I decided to go with Gerber, I was given an appt. within a few weeks. They estimated approx. 2 weeks for the repairs, gave me bi-weekly updates along the way, finished the work on time, and had my vehicle looking better than it has looked in a while. I was also impressed with the detailed invoice that I received upon completion. Job well done!

I'll begin with "thank you". My daughter and I were involved in an accident in late April 2022. My beloved Toyota 4Runner was an undrivable mess. I had heard Gerber did exceptional work, so when it came time to choose a preferred repair shop through my insurance company, I decided to give them a try. Understandably, we're still working through post-pandemic part shortages, so I was somewhat expecting this to take a while. The Gerber team kept me updated on a bi-weekly basis (Don and Tom). I have to admit, I was a bit testy at times. I thought it was going to be done a little quicker than it was, but that was wishful thinking on my part, mainly because I really wanted my truck back. The Gerber team was very patient and kind to me throughout the entire process. At the end of the day, Gerber was not going to hand over the car to me ... until it was absolutely perfect. You know what? It was! When I went to pick it up, I could not believe how beautiful it looked. They even sent a guy on a part hunt to find a Toyota lug nut cover for my tire :). They also gave the insurance company an earful when they wanted Gerber to use some 3rd party parts. Gerber said "No way," and used genuine Toyota parts for the entire job. Folks, if you want your car repaired correctly, there is no one else to consider than Gerber, especially the Gerber in Oak Lawn, IL on Central ave. The entire team deserves a huge thank you from me. I went in to get an estimate after having a minor fender bender with another vehicle. We've had cars at this location 2 other times and were pleased with the service and work. Knowing that the cab that hit me did not have reliable insurance and either me or my insurer would have to cover the damage, I was prepared for whatever. Don grabbed one of the body repair guys, and after a few wipes with his rag, after applying some solution, all was well. Mostly paint transfer from the cab, but unimaginable relief for me. No charge, and they wouldn't even let me buy them coffee. Great job guys!
