NC - 562 US Hwy 70 W, Havelock - 12/31/17

After a minor accident that involved our radiator and grill we had to check for a location that could help us repair it. We needed to find out if it could be done before our holiday was over, and, if not, make other arrangements. We checked with our insurance company and they advised us to go to Gerber and we chose the location in Havelock, North Carolina as it was closest by. When we arrived with our vehicle at Gerber we were greeted in a professional manner and provided clear instructions on how to park, so that, the work could be inspected. The interior of the offices is clean and neat. The offices were being repainted and they appeared bright and vibrant. As the vehicle was being checked I noticed that Gerber uses a water based paint to 'easy on the environment'. This is very important to me and I was glad to know they use this ... product and others like them. We had to wait a while before being taken to our rental car facility. The staff and management were kind to us and acted hospitably. Fresh coffee was offered as well as a safe place to wait. It took a few hours to determine the time for the work to be done and they let us know right away. We were provided with updates via telephone during the work. Frank and his team did an AMAZING job! Frank was so incredibly helpful from the beginning when I first had my accident, to the end when I picked my car up. He constantly called just to update me on the status of my car, and explained things very well. I felt like he genuinely cared about helping me in my situation and never felt like just another number on their list. This has been the best experience, and I really appreciate all that they did. Having car trouble is very stressful, and working with such a nice group of people really made the situation more bearable. They are awesome! Thanks again Frank!

Everyone at this body shop was very helpful each time we spoke with them. We were rear-ended right before Christmas and were going out of town soon after. When we told them this, they got our car finished 2 days before the estimate date so we would have a way to get to the airport without spending $100 on a shuttle service. The body work looked amazing and they kept in frequent contact throughout the work to keep us informed of what was happening.

Gail and Devin were great to work with. 1st class service. The repair took a bit longer than expected but was worth it as it looks seamless. Also had an issue with my rims being damaged during the repair, but Gerber fixed it at no cost and made it right. Happy customer - hope I don't need to come back, but if the need arises I will use Gerber again. Thanks!

This review is mostly for Gail, at the front desk at Gerber in Cary, NC. While we do appreciate everyone there, it is Gail that kept my sanity through this whole experience. She never made me feel like I was bothersome, even though I really was. She handled our family with so much grace and just went completely above and beyond. Thanks! And our car looks great
