Someone did a hit and run on the back door of my car in a parking lot. Since this was an insurance repair and would require paint, I decided to have some old (self-inflicted) damage to a front fender fixed at the same time. I'm almost glad that the car was hit so I was motivated to get it all fixed. The estimator, Robert E., was professional and careful and answered all my questions. I was given an estimate of 6 working days for the repair, but there was a delay in getting a part, so the computer auto-generated an revised pickup date of August 13. I was apoplectic when I called, but Chris explained about the auto text and said I could ignore the date. What a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend their services. They made the process so easy and completely painless (and also making the whole rental car process so easy too!!!). My car came back perfect and clean, and the team at the Mundelein location were top notch! I had a great experience at Gerber Collision and Glass. Everyone there gave me top grade service. Al, the general manager, took time to answer all of my questions and show everything step by step. He also understood my personal needs and made dropping off my car and bringing it home very easy. Angie, at the front desk, knows her job very well. She is a breath of fresh air and very easy to talk to. When I picked up my car, Tom was there to show and explain everything that was done. He was also very polite and understanding and he had the car waiting by the front door. My experience with all of the staff at Gerber Collision and Glass is that they treat you like you are part of their family.
