"I would like to compliment one of your employees, Margie. My Subaru Outback is scheduled to be repaired by Gerber next week. While inquiring about a rental car, I learned that dogs are not allowed in them. This was very dishartening to me, as one of my Golden Retrievers, Kodi, is a therapy dog and visits the Fair Oaks Health Care Facility in Crystal Lake on a regular basis. Long story short, Margie took it upon herself to contact Matt at Enterprise and apprise him of my situation. As a result of the extra time she took, Matt contacted me and made an exception to the "No Dog Rule." Thank you so much Gerber on Halsted in Chicago for such a wonderful overall experience with my collision repair this last week. From the receptionist who answered the phone to set up my estimate appointment being so very courteous and helpfully answering my questions so that my expectations were right on to the day I came in for my appointment with Chris and was greeted with a smile and a readiness like they were expecting me was so greatly appreciated by me. They valued my business as much as my time too. Chris was called and came to walk out to look at the damage, take pictures, and then came back shortly with the estimate, which was very fair and thorough, offered a car rental right on site, made arrangements for the rental on Monday and for me to bring it in. Gerber did excellent work on my car repairs, plus they did a lot of extras, such as vacuuming and washing it. DavidMartinez was friendly, helpful and highly responsible. He called on the days he said he would and gave me a thorough update on my car's repairs. This was the best customer service I have experienced in years! I would recommend Gerber in Skokie to anyone.
