I had the most pleasant experience with Gerber Collision & Glass - Skokie location. I want to thank each and every employee of Gerber that helped in getting my Volvo XC90 repaired within 2.5 days. My estimator, David Martinez, provided me with outstanding service and was extremely kind and friendly. I would gladly go back to this location over and over. Additionally, when I picked up my vehicle -- it was squeaky clean inside and out. Thank you, Gerber!!!

My car was ready about 1/2 hour after I took it in. The undercarriage flaps were snapped into place with only 15 minutes of labor charge. The personnel, Jennifer, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would certainly come again for any car repair.

The customer service that is displayed at the Gerber shop on Halsted is great. Sam the consultant that I had the pleasure of working with was outstanding and had a very good attitude though it all. I have been in Gerber 3 times within the last 6 months and will recommend that anyone with car issue should go here. The work is done to perfection and the wait time is far to none. Great job Gerber. Extremely good, polite service. Periodic updates given. Worked hard to get my van with a wheelchair lift done before Christmas. My van was so clean on the inside and outside when I picked it up; it is rarely that clean!! Would definitely use again and recommend.

I would like to commend JIM HEITZMAN for making a complex situation as pleasant for me as possible. He dealt with two different insurance companies (one for damage to the front of my car, and one company for damaged to the rear of my car). Just as important to me was the use of a rental car for which he worked with both insurance companies for a smooth transition for the two companies to each pay their individual portions of the rental given the completion dates of the work for each of the separate claims. I did not have to make calls back and forth between the two insurance companies or the rental company as Jim took care of everything. He also kept me apprised of the progress on the work on my car, and when I could expect the work to be completed. The work that Gerber did on my car was done to perfection. It's the 2nd time I've dealt with Gerber this year. Over the summer I had a broken window replaced within 12 hours of it breaking. This last time my car was side swiped and Sam Rihani, the specialist that helped me made a tough time easy to deal with. He concern was sincere and he explained the service and process very well. I will recommend Gerber and Sam to anyone in my network that needs auto body help.

I stopped by to get an estimate, and Michelle and the repair professional both recommended several options that needed to happen quickly before any further damage occurred...they got my car in immediately and it was ready to go in less than two hours, and they gave me a ride to and from my home so I didn't have to wait at the shop!!
