My service/repair experience at Gerber was very positive. I worked with Pete Desmarais and he was very helpful and followed through in a timely manner with the initial estimate, which was actually a little higher than the actual final repair charges. The repair time projected by Pete was also accurate, which was important due to a family trip that was scheduled. The ladies I worked with on the paperwork were also very helpful and were obviously anxious to make sure my experience was a positive one. This is probably the 5th or 6th time I have worked with this Gerber branch on a repair and my experience has generally been very positive. but I did notice on this visit that everyone seemed to be especially cooperative and helpful and it was definitely appreciated.

Everybody there was so helpful and friendly, great guest service! When I got my car back it was very clean, just how i dropped it off! Also when I picked it up they even waxed it for me! I would definitely come back if I need any other work done on my car and also refer any friends or family!

"I got several quotes from reputable collision providers for a minor ding on my brand new Toyota Matrix 2010. The Estimate was provided w/honesty, professionalism and superb customer service. It wasn't the lowest of the three estimates I secured, but the Service Representative informed me that there were discount coupons on the web site that would help offset the difference in price. However, AFter doing some research on my own and investigating that ONLY Gerber Collision provided such an outstanding warranty and over a 97% Customer Satisfaction rating, I was really in a difficult position up until when I suggested to Gerber that other "reputable" quotes were provided...one was from Car Star and the other a long time body collision place in my local area. We are very pleased with the service we received. We were kept informed of the progress of the repair and received the car as promised on time inspite of the fact that horrible storms knocked out power in Skokie. We are also pleased with the way the vehicle looks and the repairs done.

It was so easy to work with Gerber. They contacted my insurance company directly, all I had to do is drop off the car and pick it up when done! Gerber even procured me a rental car and took care of all the billing for the rental as well. I'll definitely use Gerber again if my car needs body work.

Taking a car in for collision repair is usually not a pleasant experience. At Gerber Downers Grove, the experience was wonderful from the time of estimate to pick-up. The staff was very friendly, understanding and timely. My car was repaired well within the time frame promised and every effort was made to convey to me Gerbers pledge to take care of anything that was not to my satisfation. I would recommend Gerber to anyone looking for reliable care repair.

After someone hit and run my vehicle was in need of a lot of repairs. My insurance agent recommended to go straight to Gerber. The whole process went smooth thanks to James who was attending to me and my vehicle through the repair process. James was following up with me every two days explaining in which stage the repairs are and when can I expect it back. Even though my car should have been done in two weeks they managed to expedite the process and finish it within 10 days. Very good customer service especially when you are in stress associated with road accidents.
