"The people at Gerber were wonderful! The fellow who did the estimate and I believe manages the store (Mark) was very professional and also comforting. The woman at the front desk (Tania) was also professional, but very warm and friendly. They both understand that, while this is "just" a body shop, it's a very meaningful experience for both the customer and the employees. That is greatly appreciated, and it makes a BIG difference."

I visited the Gerber store on Green Bay Road in Evanston to clean up scrapes on a bumper before selling the car. The store manager informed me that we would never recoup the money. He said they could clean it up make it look presentable which they did quite well and quickly. The charge for the work was unbelievably reasonable. Great work for a great price; the shop will get all of our work moving forward.

Gerber Collision And Glass Repair, The people at your company were true professionals. From the time of dropping off the Honda Civic, the inspection to include the estimate, to picking up the finished product was easy. Professional courtesy was always apparent while dealing with your family. That is what it felt like while going through this experience. My wife was the one in the collision and she didn’t have to worry about a single thing with the cars repair and I say thank you from the bottom of my heart for that. She suffered enough through the collision and your people made sure that she saw her car working, cleaned, and repaired as though it just came off the show room floor. Although I never look forward to going to a collision repair shop going to Gerber makes it pleasant to undo whatever damage has been done to your vehicle. They are very professional at this location - quick to give estimates and throughly explain what needs to be done and options you have. Today I had the side mirror on my SUV replaced because someone hit it as they passed my car when it was parket on the street. On Monday I got an estimate from Peter which took less than 10 minutes. I agreed to have the work done and he must have ordered the part right away because by Wednesday they received the mirror and finished painting it to match my vehicle. When I stopped in today they had it all done in 25 minutes while I waited. Gerber did a beautiful job on my car! The manager was very friendly and explained exactly what needed to be done. The final cost was as promised! I thoroughly enjoyed the emails that were sent each day to keep me informed on the progress of the repair. I will use them again if needed and of course recommend them to co workers, friends, and family!

What an extraordinary experience! It's been about 10 years since one of my cars needed body work. Walking into Gerber - NO paint odor! Both of the office folks, the appraiser, and even an affable shop employee communicated well and effectively. I knew what was going on daily through emails. The work is superior, their communication terrific and the cost was less than two of their competitors.

Just an overall exceptionally pleasant experience dealing with the folks at Gerber. From start to finish everything was top notch. The office people knew their work and communicated effectively with telephone and email contact. Gerber will definitely be used again, assuming that I again run into a mailbox in rut.
