My wife and I brought our auto, that had slight fender damage due to being hit by an uninsured driver, in for an estimate. Even though I did not have an appointment, the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. We waited only a few minutes for Chris Menos, an appraiser, to come out to talk to us. He introduced himself before going out for an initial inspection. He then explained what he thought it may take for the repair. We then waited about 10-15 minutes while the car was taken into the shop. The fender was dislodged and the mechanic was able to snap it back into place. Unbelievable how quick, courteous, kind and helpful everbody was!! Old-fashioned, good, honest service with a smile. I am so impressed!! Not that I want my car to be damaged again, but I would definitely return to Gerber Glass, and we will be telling lots of people ... read more

Gerber replaced my Volvo’s broken rear taillight and repaired the damaged body after someone hit the car while it was parked. It is impossible to see the repair, and the paint job is a perfect match. I appreciate the personal service that Concetta Hutton, the Gerber Estimator, gave me. She even sent a photo of the taillight to the supplier to make sure it was the correct one. The car was washed and cleaned on the inside, and ready for pick-up exactly when she said it would be. Thanks to all those skilled/professional Gerber employees for doing such a great job and saving my Volvo.

From start-to-finish, I was completely blown away with this company -- their customer service is impeccable as is their repair work. I received a very reasonable quote through their iPhone application and with just a couple of pics of the damage and the vin, it took about 2 days to get my quote. Once I was able to make an appointment, I called and set it all up. I was able to bring in my car the very next day. Throughout the process, they would send me updates about my car's repair work through texts and I heavily appreciated that. My car was scheduled to be done by the following Tuesday, but it was done more quickly and I got it back on Friday. Melissa at the front desk was a peach and Matt who repaired my car did an outstanding job.

Our experience was A+ all the way along. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The repairs were completed quickly and the car looked like new. Since we were not using our insurance to pay for the repair, we were directed to a coupon to save us $100. I will definitely use the South Elgin location again and will refer others.

I was so pleased with the service at this location! The people are friendly and very accommodating as I needed a ride to and from the train station as it was too hot to walk the few blocks. The car looks great - thank you all!

Rock on Calvin Baptiste. I had a minor bumper issue on a Acura TSX. The dealer said "we will have to repair the bumper." Another auto body shop said "$275 bones." Calvin said "I can have that repaired while you wait." Is there ANY doubt that I will be going to Geber on Green Bay if I have a need for work? I think not. Thanks Dan Berens

Staff was great especially Romeo Montiel. My vehicle was involved in an accident and needed it for a family vacation a week after the accident. Romeo kept me informed through the process and was professional. He was able to get the vehicle completed in that time even though the damage was suppose to take 16 days to repair. I would recommend this location to family members and friends.

The employees at the Gerber on Forest Hills Rd were incredible. The insurance adjuster strongly suggested I take my car to their preferred provider, which was not Gerber. Gerber has been a great supporter of charities and benefits in our area, so I choose to support them back. My work is perfect, the employees were very helpful, and the entire experience was the best you could hope for.

Your South Elgin, IL shop did a terrific job repairing my auto. They went above and beyond what I expected and I will go back there if I ever need a repair or glass work again. I will also refer them out as much as possible. Jeff was very good at explaining everything to me and even helped afterward when I couldn't figure out why my bright lights were not working.
