I have never received such stellar service. I was kept informed on the progress of the work being performed on my car every other day. Ramon, was such a joy to communicate with. I tried to give him a tip when I retrieved my car and he refused it. He sad that my appreciation and of the work performed by he and his team was adequate Can you imagine that? As hard as times are and as hard as it is to make ends meet, these guys refused to take a tip !

I've been to this location about 6 different times all for auto body repair. Everyone that works at this location have all been wonderful and extreamly helpful. One of the girls that works the front desk even stayed a little later one Saturday when I was running late to pick up my car. I was so greatful, Saturday was the only day I could pick up my car. I almost dropped my car off at the glenview,il location, because they are closer to me, but decided to drive all the way to the halsted location for the better Customer service. If I could give the halsted location more stars I would.

My experience with Gerber at their Elston location in Chicago was one of the best customer service experiences I can recall. The entire process was straight-forward, clearly communicated and efficient. Auto accidents and consequential repairs are always a stressful experience. From the moment I pulled my vehicle in to the shop, Andrew R. was very professional and understanding as I walked him through the situation. I felt very comfortable leaving the office that day knowing what the general time frame on the repair process and that I could call Andrew at any point with questions. On several occasions through the repair process, Andrew proactively called me to check-in and provide an update. When the car repairs were finished, Andrew took the time to walk through any questions I had as well as offered to be available for follow up after I ... left. Additionally, the rest of the staff I interacted with at Gerber on phone calls or during my time at the shop were friendly and easy to work with as well. I will highly recommend Gerber to anyone who is looking for repairs and know that should I need work done in the future, this location will be the first I call. read more
