I was in an accident in early December. My car had significant damage. Of course, I needed it repaired quickly, properly, and thoroughly at a shop that I felt could be trusted. In addition, I needed help with a rental since I hadn't opted for that coverage in my policy :( Per my insurance company, I learned that the Bourbonnais Gerber shop had a gold star rating from customers and offered 5 days of free car rental. I also learned that they provided a lifetime guarantee on their repairs. I called the shop and spoke to Doug, the General Manager. He was kind, helpful and genuine. Although I hadn't met him in person, I felt I could trust him to do right by me and my car. I am pleased to say that he exceeded my high expectations! He expedited my repair and called me as needed with progress reports. Additionally, the shop sent me progress ... reports via text, very cool! When I took my car on a test drive upon pick up, I noticed a slight problem with the steering. Doug sent my car to the Mitsubishi dealer for additional inspection. The findings were inconclusive, but Doug erred on the side of caution and replaced my front wheel and tire. He made the right decision too! When I picked my car up on New Years Eve and took it for another test drive, the steering was perfect! Doug and his team really went "the extra mile" for me in several ways and I really appreciated it. I was treated like a valued customer and not just another insurance claim. I live near Joliet, so i could have chosen closer repair shops, but Im so glad I didn't. It was worth the tow and follow up trips to Bourbonnais. Would I take my car to them again for repairs in the future? Absolutely! As long as Doug is rhe General Manager there, you can count on excellent treatment and service. Thank you! read more

I was very pleased with the prompt and courteous response to my car repair. The turn around time was exceptional. I am very pleased with the results of the repairs made. You can't even tell that the car was even damaged. Dave and the crew at the Arlington Heights IL facility were very polite and courteous through out the whole process. Thank you so much

Kudos to management, estimator (Jamie), repairmen and porters. Again, WELL DONE! You work as a team with insurance and car rental to make a stressful event almost routine. Your policy to make things RIGHT is real and does credit to you all - you're there when we need your services the most. In addition, you make each of us feel that we're dealing with friends, even though we know, deep down, that we're just customers. Thanks!

I had my car fixed from an accident in March of 2015 and everything went very well. I found all of the team very accommodating. I had an issue with my headlight after picking up my car and called back and it was immediately handled. Today I brought my car in for an unrelated issue that I needed addressed on New Years Eve and Bill G. helped me out. He wired up my bumper and told me I had a screw in the tire which he also fixed. He was very pleasant and was able to help me out even on a holiday at the last minute.

First of all I would like to wish everyone at Gerber Collision & Glass a Happy New Year 2016!! I had my '03 VW Jetta Wagon in for some collision damage to my front end of the vehicle and the work that was done was superb. I also had to return my car for a follow up on some minor issues and Christopher Knight and the young lady at the front desk Lizzie were most accommodating in getting it resolved and keeping me informed. Super service and Mandy B. was my estimator and gave me an Awesome quote and above all always had a smile and upbeat attitude while helping me understand what was to be done, how long it would take and when the job was complete again explain what Gerber did how it was warrantied and how to take care of my car after i left! What an awesome testiment to excellence and how much Gerber works from the begining all the way to the finished product and how much their employees like helping customers
