The customer service is wonderful. I was getting texted updates and phone calls every other day. My SUV was hit from the back good amount of damage. You could not even tell my SUV was in an accident. The paint job looks great! They estimated 3 weeks out to be done. I got a call it was ready in 2 weeks. I was very pleased!! I would definitely come back to Gerber. Thank you to all the staff.

WOW! WOW! WOW! The superstars at the Gerber in Crystal Lake, IL did a fantastic job repairing my car!!! It now looks like it just rolled off of the assembly line! Superstar GM Nick is phenomenal!! He and his team did an excellent job and also took excellent care of me as a customer. I was always kept in the loop regarding timing and they even repaired my car nearly a week early. Absolutely outstanding!!! Superstar Kiegan is also a standout!! She took care of everything, including my car rental - not just getting the car there, but also returning the car back for me. I was amazed by her professionalism and kindness. She and Nick are absolute superstars and I cannot thank them enough!!!

It's not that often that I write a review. It's time consuming and it is rare to find a business that truly cares enough about the customer rather than the bottom line. The exact opposite is what I experienced when I went to Gerber Collision & Glass in Palatine. I have a 2022 Volvo and must have gone over a curb or hit a pot hole and, as a result, the rocker panel at the bottom of the car was pushed forward about 3/4". There was no concern regarding driving the car, it just looked bad. I brought the car to a Volvo dealership and was quoted over $1000 to fix it. The rocker panel purportedly needed to be replaced ($425 for the part), clips & fasteners and paint was almost $200 and labor another $450. Two months later I was passing a popular auto repair and collision center near the town where I live. I felt I had nothing to ... loose by asking for a quote to repair the damage. They said it couldn't be fixed, that too many clips and brackets were broken. They gave me a written quote which included having to get the $425 Rocker panel from Volvo, parts and labor...all coming to $1,089. Now for the rare part of this story. This morning I brought my car into Gerber Collision & Glass in Palatine. I told Chris, the manager, the history of what had happened and what others wanted to charge me. He looked at my car in the parking lot and said "Let me see what we could do." Less that 10 minutes later my car was done! It looked like new. I asked him what the charge would be and he said there wasn't any charge! What an unbelievable display of kindness. I don't know what Seco, the Gerber mechanic who actually worked on the car knew, that the Volvo dealership and local auto repair shop didn't know. The team at this Gerber shop is amazing: Jake, Klaudia, and Don. They helped me through a very difficult and stressful time with my Volkswagen Tiguan being damaged by a U-Haul. They answered all of my numerous questions on several different occasions throughout the entire process. You can't even tell it was damaged! It looks beautiful once again! Thank you for all you did to help me with my car and through this very stressful time in my life.

Service was excellent. I got into an accident where my bumper was damaged from a drunk driver. Once I dropped my car off I was immediately picked up to get into a rental. After my car was officially in the shop the team was constantly updating me on timeline and fixes that need to be made. I would recommend this shop to anyone in need of body repairs on their vehicle. Also they washed my car so it was sparkling clean when I picked it up.

Keigan at the Gerber in Crystal Lake, IL is a ROCK STAR!!! She and GM Nick kept me well informed about everything and Keigan anticipated every step and my every need. If only every employee could be like Keigan!! She is kind, polite, thorough, efficient, gregarious and she seemingly knows everything!!!! This location was slammed with customers, yet Keigan just smiled through it all and remained calm and professional and so very friendly!!! She made everyone there, including me, very happy to be a Gerber customer. KUDOS TO KIEGAN!!!

These people went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. They called me any time there was an update and had my car done in 2 weeks which is great timing considering all the craziness in the world with shipping and handling stuff. The girls at the front desk always answer or call you back. Jorge, the estimator was amazing with every phone call explaining to me what I needed to know. Great place to take your car for any repair!
