Took them a little while to get the estimate completed and sent over to insurance but with the Holidays, it was expected. Everytime I called, they informed on what was going on with my vehicle. Very professional and overall a great experience.

Working with Kyle and Miranda at Gerber in Fairfield was great. I found Gerber via State Farm's list of partnered shops, and was impressed by the amount of certifications they had listed. I also liked that I could book my estimate appointment online, and that same week. Other shops were scheduling estimates for multiple weeks out. Kyle was upfront and honest with me during the whole process, and contacted me with updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays as initially promised. I also used the website to follow the status of the work. I don't think that most shops offer that level of sophistication for tracking. The repair was finished over a week faster than the estimate, and looked fantastic. There wasn't any major damage to fix, but there were several spots with paint issues, and they made sure to get them all right. At first I felt silly ... bringing my car in for an insurance fix on what is essentially purely cosmetic, but I think I will be glad that I did for years to come. read more

I expected a 2nd survey email about the hood latch and antenna but it didn't happen. Thanks for the follow up fix. A special TY to whoever eliminated the "oil change due" light even though it wasn't due. It just didn't get reset last oil change.

My State Farm insurance agent gave me information about Gerber Collision after a discussion about where they would recommend getting my car repaired. The location selected was quite close to my house and the representative that answered the phone and arranged an appointment was very friendly and informative. Upon my arrival, the inspection area was undercover and clean. The agent who inspected my car was efficient, personable and after taking photos presented me with an estimate within 30 minutes. The rate was most competitive with what I had from other sources so I agreed to have Gerber do the repair. I was able to keep my car while kept informed as to the status of when the parts would be available and they could start the repair. After dropping the car off for repair I was informed twice a week while the repairs were being done as to ... the status - additional parts, assembly, and painting. Upon completion, the pickup was simple, expedient, and friendly. Gerber will be my number one recommendation to anyone I know who needs damage repairs. read more

The car actually belongs to my husband but I took it in for repairs (a gift for his birthday and our wedding anniversary), so that is why my name appears on the paperwork. Gerber had repaired some damage that was done to my car earlier this year and because I was very pleased with the work and the employees, I decided to take his car there.
