This past Tuesday, Gary helped me out with a simple headlight replacement. He honestly should teach classes on customer service. He was extremely nice, considerate, and made me want to come back to him with all my car issues. Great service!!!

"I am writing to tell you about my very favourable experience with Gerber's Mr. Rick Koestner, the General Manager in Downers Grove IL. I drive a 1999 infiniti Q45 that I have maintained very well. As Rick related, it is not uncommon for someone to do what I did, back into my son's car parked at the end of the drive. Luckily the only damage was a 2 foot long back mark. I had tried, unsuccessfully, to remove this mark with rubbing compount. I asked Rick for an estimate to repair my bumper and when he saw it, he said "We can take care of that, let me grab some things". After the first attempt he said "I need to grab a dfifferent solution". He hustled back inside, and returned to completely remove the damage to my bumper. The people at Gerber are outstanding! Every single person I had contact with was professional and genuine. It is rare to find this level of customer service. The workmanship is excellent. I was told my car would be ready on 12/23 and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was ready on 12/17. I had only brought it in a few days earlier. Amazing! I would never take my car anywhere but Gerber. They are the best!!!

I couldn't be happier with the service I have received from Rick Koestner's team at Gerber. I happened upon this particular shop a couple years ago because it is a preferred provider for my insurance company, USAA. Since then, I have had two occasions to need repairs, and both times I didn't think twice about bringing my cars to Rick. In fact, I referred a neighbor several months ago, and he was also delighted with the service. I hope I don't ever need collision repairs again, but if I do I will have them performed here.

This was my first experience with Gerber Collision, and I'm impressed! I selected Gerber from Allstate's list of approved shops and they made dealing with the insurance and car rental pain-free. Not only did they do a beautiful job replacing my bumper, they also buffed out some unrelated scratches...at no extra charge! I have a few other areas that need body work on my car and will definitely consider returning to Gerber.
