This was the second time I have used this facility. I cannot praise the service I received too highly. Work was done as promised, on time. I was asked if I wanted to wait and was told it would take about one hour. I decided to wait and at one hour and five minutes it was done. You can't beat that.

Raul Rodriguez handled my repair, and I was very pleased with his efficiency, courtesy and detailed explanation of what needed to be done. If your feedback scale allowed a 12 instead of a 10 as the maximum, I would gladly give Raul a 12. All my contacts with the employees at 3425 N. Halsted in Chicago were friendly and efficient. The repair job is of excellent quality, and I can highly recommend Gerber.

"I wanted to take a moment to send you a quick email regarding my experience at your shop this past week. I consider myself to be what one might call "a fanatic" when it comes to my car. It's a slightly unhealthy obsession, at least my wife thinks so; but suffice to say that I am extremely sensitive and extremely hard to please in all matters vehicular. I was recently the victim of a hit and run, which resulted in damage to the hood of my precious BMW. Most business do not have customer service, they offer personnel who remember rehearse lines. For instance, how much times have you've gone through the McDonald drive through and you where greeted by a prerecorded greeting? Most of the times the prerecorded greeting sounds more cheerful ,then the actually worker that is taking your order. Gerber did not hire employees to fill a job but has created family and team. It 04/22/2011 when I was introduce to Raul Rodriguez, he was my adjuster for my auto claim. He was very informative and patiently answers all my questions and concerns. He demonstrated more then customer service and went above and beyond his job. I want to commend CHRIS FREIHAUT at the Chicago North Halsted location for his very helpful, courteous service when I had to get my Pontiac Vibe repaired after an accident. He really went the extra mile in helping - even when the rental car people didn't get there on time & I was late for work. Chris was incrediblt patient, always with a smile. Customer Service is generally poor these days but not with Chris! Thank you & please make sure upper Management sees this as well as Chris.

I brought my car in recently for a quote for scratches/dent repair of my BMW SUV. The staffs from the receptionist (? Sida) to service advisor (C. Freihaut) were extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. They made me feel welcomed immediately which is a rare occurrence these days in regard to customer service. Chris was willing to work with other quotes that I had obtained. My calls were returned promptly and all questions/concerned were answered. The repair process was made painless and I got the car back within the promised time frame. It was memorable that a Gerber staff member approached me apologizing for startling me 3 days ago when he started the Gerber race car while I was waiting for my quote :) The car was cleaned inside out and restored to its original beauty. The staff was very professional and friendly. My vehicle was ready the next day and the work looks great. The paint matched perfect and it looked as if the vehicle was never damaged. I would highly recommend Gerber to anyone who needs any work done on their vehicle.

This is the third or fourth time I've had my car in for repair at Gerber. The service has been first rate in each case, and we've been very pleased with the work. The staff has communicated clearly and consistently, and there have been no surprises. Most importantly, when there has been a delay or other small bump, the folks at Gerber have gone out of their way to accommodate us, and offered breaks on price or scope that was unexpected and generous. This is my fourth time using Gerber and the service has been great every single time. This time Sam Rani did an excellent job of getting me in on the day I wanted and making sure the work was finished in 3 days, as I requested. He also came in under the estimate. Dealing with auto insurance claims can be the most frustrating experience, but Gerber has made it as smooth as possible each time. I would recommend them witnout hesitation.

Another great experience with Gerber! Truly excellent customer service from Raul Rodriguez, and the work done on my car was very good. Lauren andSayra were so nice to work with as well, really helpful and pleasant. An additional note: I was quite happy that I was not told to leave my very well behaved dog outside this time around...a smart move in this dog-friendly neighborhood!

The accident I was in, though unfortunate, was made easier by the peace of mind given to me by Gerber. Repairs were very well done and done in a timely manner.
