Chicago, Illinois – March 11, 2019 – The Boyd Group Inc. (the “Boyd Group”) today announced the March 8, 2019 acquisition of a multi-store operation consisting of 11 collision repair locations in Michigan. These repair centers, which previously operated under the names of Dusty’s Collision (7 locations), Whitney’s Collision (3 locations) and Wright Brothers Collision (1 location), are located in Ann Arbor, Flint and Lansing in eastern and central Michigan.

Dusty’s Collision originated in 1995 in Ann Arbor. A second Ann Arbor location was added in 2006 and Dusty’s expanded by new unit growth and acquisition with the most recent openings in 2017.

This location previously operated as Lake Pleasant Collision Center, servicing customers in the community since 2009. Peoria is a northwestern suburb of Phoenix, with a population of approximately 155,000 people and is listed in the “Top 100 Places to Live” by Money magazine.

This location previously operated as Bob Johnson’s Body Shop and has operated in the market for 45 years. Cayce is located on the Congaree River across from Columbia, the capital city of South Carolina and primary city of a metropolitan area of approximately 800,000 people.
