Excellent . I have an older car with high miles, but am not ready to buy a new car yet, so after a deer hit, I decided to have the driver's door repaired. Marti was excellent to work with, as I know it was difficult to find parts for an older car, but they didn't make fun of my old car and had it done within 3 weeks, and even fixed little things without me asking, like the tire sensor gage (that the dealer told me was not broken but was just low tire air, but I knew they were wrong) and the hood stand latch. Thank you! These folks care about you and their work.

My car was hit from behind and causing small dents and scratches on the rear bumper. Gave my car to this amazing Estimator, Monica M. who exceeded my expectations: 1) finished the job one week earlier as it took only four working days to get new bumper and fix the dents plus courtesy painting of tiny spots of the four doors' edges (caused by hitting the walls when parked). 2) the cost is less than 3 competitors that I shopped around near my home 3) Ms M. is very friendly and professional. She even texted me to let me know the progress and the completion and sending me pictures of the job being done. I never met such quick, friendly and professional person like her. She is a keeper at Gerber Collision & Glass company.

I have been impressed with Gerber's professionalism, responsiveness and overall level of care and communication throughout the process. For the discerning consumer, I would absolutely recommend them. They were open to dialogue throughout the process. I never felt dictated to, and I always got the feeling they cared about the customer and the end result. They display a high level of attention to detail. I have a difficult color to paint match (VW - Great Falls Green), and the painters did a stellar job of matching that difficult color. It looks really good. 10/10 here. Unfortunately, the actual repair was more of a 8.5-9/10. Most of the car looks really, really good. And they took extra time to buff the car so as to make sure all the surfaces matched from a finish point of view. The following statement is NOT intended to take away from all ... the positive items of note preceding this next statement. In the area of actual impact there is still a slightly noticeable break in the paint / finish, or a small piece of debris under the clear coat. It's really minor, but, I would have liked to see it 100% or as close to is as reasonable. My estimator assured me that since Gerber's work is warrantied for life, that if it becomes an annoyance to me or develops into a larger area of concern due to weathering and solar effects, I would be entitled to bring it back to be fixed. With that promise on file, I was satisfied enough to receive the car. Lastly, there were a few minor chips that did not end up being completed during the repair. It is not the end of the world, but if I am being honest I would have liked those to be completed so I didn't have to touch them up myself. The fact they were missed is entirely understandable due to the mechanism of damage in my cars case (showered with small metal debris on the highway from a failed u-joint of the vehicle in front of me). I do not hold Gerber at fault for missing these, and my estimator, Trent, assured me they would be happy to take care of it. I just couldn't be without transportation any longer and the estimated repair time for the additional items was another 3 days. If I am unable to satisfactorily touch those truly minor spots up, I will just bring it back to them when I have adequate time to await further repairs. All and all, I am happy with the work completed. Based on previous experiences with other shops throughout the years, I was expecting to have a lot of issues to drill down upon final inspection. The minor issues I have mentioned, still represent a facility and staff that is a cut above the norm. I commend them and recommend them. As an automotive industry professional of 15 years (manager at an Audi/Porsche/VW dealership), I can say without reservation that Gerber is among the best choice you can make when it comes to body work. We were in a car accident the day before and the hood was all smashed and starting to separate. We were in a rental and to make matters worse we were almost 11 hours away from home. To insure our rental was safe enough to drive back home we decided to stop by this collision shop to ask an expert if they would recommend. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. They wrapped our hood with a body wrap for cars to secure the front and to keep any wind from being able to get underneath it and cause more damage and most importantly they did it free of charge. My family and I were very appreciative of the kind gesture. That type of generosity is rare these days. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with the need of a body shop.
