"I have a State Farm Auto Insurance Policy. I was rear- ended by a driver who had State Farm Insurance also. And of course I was not happy because of the impending inconvenience. I decided to take my vehicle to the collision repair shop Car Collision that I had been doing business with for years for an estimate on the damage. To my surprise they were no longer in there. Instead I found Gerber in it's place. Well reluctantly I went inside to check out the service (change is sometimes good and sometimes not so good). I at least hoped for the same service I had previously received from Car Collision. Instead the service I received was incredibly better. Beginning with the walk through the door I found the place spotlessly clean (unbelievable for a collision shop). As I walked to the front desk I was greeted by Arlene the receptionist . ... She was very polite and answered my questions in a very professional manner. I was planning on just getting the estimate and coming back on Monday since it was close to closing time on Saturday. She reminded me that my insurance would allow for a rental and if I left the vehicle she would call the rental company and have them pick me up and take me home and they could start the repair process first thing Monday morning after I had gotten the estimate., I agreed. The next amazing thing was when the estimator John Thomas came out and greeted me with the same polite and and positive attitude, I couldn't believe it. He took his time (even though it was closing time)and explained to me how the repair process would work and realistically how long it would take based on acquiring the necessary parts for the repair. I could tell he was a seasoned professional. I left my vehicle with him feeling confident and somewhat elated that it was in good hands. Then another great thing happened, I received a call stating my vehicle was ready for pick-up 4 days earlier than the target date, what a wonderful surprise! Even-though I enjoyed driving the rental, I missed my "Baby" LOL. When I picked "Her" up she was just like brand new, no evidence of the collision what-so ever. I asked JT (my new friend) if could I talk to the manager.I wanted to tell him about my wonderful experience. And as I should have expected upon talking with Nick Roe the manager I received the same warm and professional manner I had received since I first walked through the door. Now that is what I'd call a" Triple Play". Thanks Gerber for hiring these good people, they have really set the bar high for everyone else. Unbelivable. The service was outstanding, my car looked all most new. I took my car in on Monday at 8am at 12pm on Tuesday the next day they called, your car is ready. I was floored never have I had body work done in a 1 day. It's miracle. Who'd a thought? Thumbs up for South Holland Gerber.

Gerber is the best!!!!!!! I have never received service tlike that before. My car was ready in ONE day! They replaced my bumper and it's like new again! I didn't get a chance to enjoy the rental car, but that was OK. The young lady at the front desk was nice and had a pleasant attitude...something you don't find often in customer service. Marlon was also helpful and very informative!
