Was in my first ever (43 years of driving) auto accident, someone rear ended me and totally ripped and gouged the rear fender of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. The other party's insurance paid for all the repair and sent me to Gerber on Decatur Blvd. Took my Jeep in on Friday morning, by the following Monday, I received a call that it was done. My Jeep had been detailed in and out, the repair was done and it looked like the accident never happened! Very pleased both with the repair and the pleasant personnel of this particular Gerber Auto Collision location.

I would like to thank the installer Kris S. for the excellent work he did on my vehicle. My glass was originally changed 2 months ago, and upon me finding an issue with the previous install, he was attentive to my issues and even made an effort to double check the entire install, beyond my concerns. Unfortunately, while fixing the issue, a crack was made in the glass (or could have been preexisting, as it was under a trim piece). Kris promptly stopped the crack, owned up to the mistake, and promised every effort necessary to correct the issue. He along with the office support staff went out of their way to ensure that my every concern was addressed. My window was re-replaced in an expedient manner, and with obvious concern to making sure every detail was right. And since I could not be present at the final install, he even went out of his ... way to send me a photo to ensure I knew the glass was the one I wanted. Unfortunately the original install a couple months ago led to me having to have things re-done, but in the end I feel its the best thing that could have happened, as I feel way better now. I will definitely insist he is my installer every time I need new glass, which unfortunately in Las Vegas, happens a bit more often then you should need to! One last thing, as a long time aircraft mechanic, I have a profound respect for those people who can own up to their mistakes. Kris could have easily put the trim piece that covered the crack in place, and I may have never even have noticed it. Eventually the crack would have made its way across then window though, and I'd be spending more money getting yet another windshield replaced. I truly appreciate his integrity and attention to detail, its good to know there's still people with his character out there. Oh and thanks to the office staff too, they kept me well informed the whole time during scheduling! read more
