To upper management or who it may concern, Hello, my name is Tom B. and I would like to tell my first experience at Gerber Collison & Glass. Let me start by letting you know that I recently purchased my first new car that I absolutely love. Just like anyone with a new car, I take great care of it and I am aware of every inch of the vehicle and even do the occasional walk around inspection. Unfortunately I have recently discovered two small surface scratches on my car. You can only know how this made me feel. One day after work I stopped in at an auto parts store and purchased a scratch remover... which of course did nothing. Then when I was driving home I drove past one of your facilities and decided to give you guys a call. When I did call I was wondering about an estimate and more information. I spoke with a gentleman named Maurice ... Bell and he was very helpful and told me that I should come in the next day. I let him know that I wouldn't be able to arrive until after 5:00 pm due to work. He was very understandable and told me to come in around that time would be fine (founding out later that they close at 5:00 pm by looking online. So basically they were accommodating my time, which was very nice of them and I really do appreciate it.) So I did arrive to the Melrose Park, IL facility and met with Maurice. He was very polite and I showed him the scratches on the car and he explained that he would take my car and have the technicians take a looks and possibly make a price quote. Less than 15 minutes later he arrived back with the car and told me that they were able to buff out the scratches and he would he wouldn't charge me. I was blown away. The work that was done was amazing and I would like to thank Maurice, the technician, and also Gerber Collison & Glass. The customer service that I experience was exceptional and rare is the auto business. You have gained a customer and I will advise my friends and family to also go to Gerber Collison & Glass for any future service. Again, thank you and keep up the great work!!! read more

I can't say enough nice things about the service I received. I have told everyone about Gerber's. I was so upset. Maurice B. was so kind & respectful of my frustrations. He treated me with kindness & as if I were family.

"Highly Wreck-ommended!" is right. I would recommend anyone that I know who need their car repaired to do business with Gerber Collision & Glass. I just picked up my car after being repaired from a bad accident and I have to say I am very pleased with the worked. The team at the Melrose Park location from Maurice who kept me infomed during the my car's repair, the workers, and the receptionist you all are the best! I can't Thank You! all enough.

Everyone was very knowledgeable. Maurice explain everything step by step and kept me in form with a phone call every other day. And I got to know one of the body shop employees and his name is victor. He really knows his stuff and also explain how the painting process work. And I was surprised. And my saying was WOW!!!!!! In a hole everything was perfect.: )

Gerber is a very good body shop, very friendly . They make you feel like your in your own home. I would recommend anyone who has an accident to go there, also they have have very good coffee and the job is done when they tell you it will be done.

We had a great experience getting our minivan repaired after an accident. However, had to return to get the automatic door handle fixed. That in itself was no big deal as they ordered part and scheduled repair at no cost. Then came the fix, scheduled for 8:00AM on a Saturday and was advised it would take 20-30 minutes. Arrived on time, had to wait 30 minutes for tech to arrive, was told it was being cleaned up after 1 hour 30 minutes and finally got keys after total time of 2 hours 35 minutes. I appreciate the effort and service to get this fixed, but don't make low time promises you can't come close to meeting. Thankfully I had the time to deal with the delay. What would have been 5 stars turned into 2 stars after 2.5 hours of frustration.
