I would like to give a big thanks to Sevice Manager Steve K! He really helped me after I had my car repaired at the Buffalo Grove Gerber location. I had my driver's side door replaced after it was hit by another car. The repair was done in a timely manner and was done very well. But shortly after my getting my car back the "Hood Open" warning light kept coming on and my car alarm would randomly go off. When I asked Steve about this issue he really took time with me to diagnose the problem. It was eventually determined that my hood latch was faulty. Steve was quick to order the new part and get it installed in 24 hours. This is the type of customer service that makes me want to have all my related car needs taken care of by Gerber. My experience at this shop was extremely pleasant from the time I contacted the shop until I drove my perfectly repaired vehicle away. Initially I spoke with the manager Rick H, who was very helpful and setup my appointment and arranged to have a rental car waiting for me when I arrived. Rick introduced me to Chase J who took on the task of estimating the damage/repairs and sending the information to the insurance company and kept me in the loop. The shop did a great job repairing my vehicle and was done in just a few days. I will definitely recommend this shop to my friends and co-workers. These gentlemen are real professionals and provide excellent customer service. Great Job!.
