Service was fantastic, everyone was friendly and everything was done for me in one day. My car was quite messy in the back seat from crumbs and what not from my 5 year old and not only did they vacuum everything but they wiped everything down and washed my car. I think this place has fantastic service. I will definately reccommend this gerber collision & glass. You were all fantastic...

I don't often write reviews, as I feel only exceptional companies and service deserve a review and this Gerber location (Downers Grove) deserves exceptional praise. Their workmanship and customer service are second to none. It is rare to find the attention to customers these days that I have found here...from the great service from the two young ladies that greet and help you when you first walk in the door to the G.M. My car looks perfect and I feel Gerber wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied no matter whatever it takes! ... even though they didn't need to, as everything was perfect...I will continue to recommend this shop to everyone.

Dec 9th I visited this location at the onset of an emergency situation that happened during my lunch hour. The situation was somewhat unusual for my car of 7 years . I believe Angels positioned me less than a mile from this location. Excellent service and I'm very satisfied with the work. And I believe it was a fair price for tyhe work. I have already told several people how satisfied I 'am. A co worker has already asked that I give her your card. The staff was friendly and professional. Melissa showed a caring attitude! Amazing service. Chris went above and beyond with customer service and offered to cover my car rental because the repair time was taking longer than expected. I've always had great service with Gerber and this last time was spot on. Thanks to Chris and the front desk ladies for being so welcoming! Will definitely recommend to anyone in need of car service.

WOW. Really great service. I've been to other body shops over the years and I assumed they were all the same. Gerber disproved this - they went above and beyond to not only make it look like it did before, but it looked like it came off the showroom floor. They have service down to fine art. From the minute I drove in I was given exceptional service. They explained the repair process and how many days it would take to complete. They worked magic on getting the car completed many days before scheduled time and in perfect condition. Throughout the repair process I received text messages on the repair status. My experience was wonderful. Gerber kept me informed on the status of my car repair almost on a daily basis and called whenever there was a delay in parts being received or when my car would be finished. When my car was complete, the manager went over my total repair list of what was fixed, he went a little fast explaining things but answered any questions I had. Walked around my car once complete to let me see final repairs. There was one minor concern once I started driving my car, when I called to have Gerber look at it, the manager took the time out to carefully assess my concern and find a resolution. I was never rushed or made to feel as if I was another number, Gerber took the time to listen to my concern and treat me as a valuable customer instead of another number walking through the door. I got a flat tire right infront of Gerber Collision & Glass recently and went in to get some help and they helped to replace it with the spare even if they don't do tires. Very nice and professional people.
