On May 1st of this year I had an unfortunate accident at a local gas station making too sharp of a turn rounding a pump island and causing me to sideswipe a metal guard railing. The manager at the Gerber location in Oak Forest, Don H., was very understanding and empathetic about my accident and assured me that the damage was not as bad as it seemed. This was my second auto body shop estimate, Abra being my first. But the selling point for me to choose Gerber was that Don noticed that I had a paint scratch on my rear bumper ( from somebody backing into me in a parking lot when I was not in the car ). Without my asking, he offered to buff it out at no charge. I was not expecting this and at this point chose Gerber to repair my car. Outstanding facility. Everyone from the time I arrived, until all the work I needed was completed, were friendly and more then helpful. I will recommend not only my friends. but who ever I can to go here when car repairs are needed.

Five stars! Someone broke the mirror and housing on my SUV. I went to one place, Gerber's because my daughter had her vehicle repaired there last winter. Jennifer W. gave me a very reasonable estimate and told me she'd call when the part came in, which she did in a few days. She said I could come in anytime and they would install it while I waited. I was in/out within an hour and was very pleased with the work. Thank you to your staff, especially Jennifer, who was very nice and helpful.
