My husband and I arranged had estimate for replacement of a plastic fender and light on our jeep at the Deland Gerber Collision. We were quoted about $600. Upon returning to get the work done; we were informed that the light that need repair was not ordered and would cost $600 to order it. After a very short discussion a way to fix the light and about not needing a perfect finish in the fender. HEIDI suggested she would like to try something to see if we could avoid the need for the light. We left to get coffee. When we returned 30 minutes later. She had the light reattached and the plastic buffed out and shiny. Is it perfect...no, very tiny scratches still existed but it is a jeep and imperfection gives my jeep character. When I asked her how much the repair would cost? She "Nothing. " ?? I am so thankful for honest people, who ... will go out of their way. Thank you Heidi. Working with Gerber was truly top notch. My son handled the whole process after I connected him with Gerber. Gerber worked with him and the other person's insurance and we didn't have to pay anything out of pocket as Gerber handled all the details with the insurance. They fixed my son's bumper and it looks fantastic. No evidence he was ever hit. Highly recommend Gerber.
