I'll begin with "thank you". My daughter and I were involved in an accident in late April 2022. My beloved Toyota 4Runner was an undrivable mess. I had heard Gerber did exceptional work, so when it came time to choose a preferred repair shop through my insurance company, I decided to give them a try. Understandably, we're still working through post-pandemic part shortages, so I was somewhat expecting this to take a while. The Gerber team kept me updated on a bi-weekly basis (Don and Tom). I have to admit, I was a bit testy at times. I thought it was going to be done a little quicker than it was, but that was wishful thinking on my part, mainly because I really wanted my truck back. The Gerber team was very patient and kind to me throughout the entire process. At the end of the day, Gerber was not going to hand over the car to me ... until it was absolutely perfect. You know what? It was! When I went to pick it up, I could not believe how beautiful it looked. They even sent a guy on a part hunt to find a Toyota lug nut cover for my tire :). They also gave the insurance company an earful when they wanted Gerber to use some 3rd party parts. Gerber said "No way," and used genuine Toyota parts for the entire job. Folks, if you want your car repaired correctly, there is no one else to consider than Gerber, especially the Gerber in Oak Lawn, IL on Central ave. The entire team deserves a huge thank you from me. Sherri A. at the Johnston Street, Lafayette LA location was amazing to work with. She showed such compassion when she learned of my husband's accident. After the accident, I was dealing with the tow yard and claims adjuster while at the hospital with my husband. After days of not making headway to get his truck to Gerber, it was so refreshing to meet the beautiful young lady I had been speaking to on the phone when I called almost daily to see if the truck had arrived. Her first question always was, "how is your husband?" I don't typically submit reviews but I felt I had to let you know what type of person you have greeting customers on the phone and at the front door. She is an exemplary employee who truly knows what customer service is all about. When I left there, I felt everything was going to be handled just as Sherri said ... it would be! In todays world, it is difficult to find a business that goes the extra mile. Jordan and staff at the Oshkosh office really does that. They are all so friendly, efficient and my car looks great. On the way home, I hit a deer and took my car back the next day. I received great service again. They ar so friendly and helpful. It is so refreshing to have a business like this in Oshkosh
