This is just a quick note to notify you what a wonderful experience I had with Joe B. at the Portage, IN location. After my car had been stolen and then recovered, it was taken to Gerber for appraisal. Unfortunately I was unable to utilize Gerber's repair services as the vehicle was totaled, but Joe provided me with excellent advice regarding the insurance process that was instrumental in my reaching a satisfactory result with my insurance company. The customer service I was provided would definitely bring me back to Gerber. Thanks again,

I was hit on the coast and the back of my Sorento did a good job of absorbing the impact, however, the lady that hit me caused some damage to my vehicle. Thus, I had to get it repaired, so I went to Gerber where Jeff, Jamie and Linda helped me, both with the estimate and drop off and pick-up for work completion. There was a minor glitch in my paperwork as they had my phone number wrong (out-of-state, and lots of 3's)....So, when I called to check-in, I was told it was in clean-up and they'd call back when ready. A minute later Jamie called and told me they had my number wrong and the car was ready. My Italian temper vanished the second I was told my car was ready. When I walked in, Jamie brought me right to the front of the line and within seconds, I turn around and there is Jeff whisking me away to take a look at his work. The car was ... super shiny, sparkling and aesthetically a hell of a lot better than the dirty vehicle I left with them. Jeff explained exactly what he did and WHY he did what he did. Customer Service is a brash industry. Although we met due to unfortunate circumstances, I am a pleased consumer with this specific location and staff. I will recommend this establishment to anyone in need of services. Most of all, my review of 5 stars comes not only from the exceptional body work, but because of the human beings behind the operation, Jeff, Jamie & Linda. I'm sure there is other staff, but I dealt with these three specifically. Jeff is a behind AND in front of the scenes mechanic/auto-repair Master. I am so very pleased with my experience. Thank you, thank you! I could tell these people enjoy coming to work and helping others; people who hate their jobs are easily spotted. Great job, guys and gals!!!!! I was very satisfied with my service and the professionalism of my estimator Jason A. Although I had to wait a long time for an appointment, he explained the repair process and expectation clearly. On my repair date he kept me informed and got my vehicle back to me when promised. He afterwards made sure I was satisfied, which I was. The receptionist was also very cordial and friendly.
