Hello, I just wanted to say how thankful I am to Darryl H. I was visiting from Jacksonville and the sun baked my rear view mirror right off while my family & I were enjoying Wet n Wild. I call another Gerber facility & he gave me a generalized way to repair the mirror, but when I called Gerber on 11725 S. OBT and reached Darryl, he also told me what to do, but he way above and beyond what I even expected. He told me that if I get the materials he would put it on for me. I can't tell you how pleased I was as I had tried to do it myself, but it fell down again and yes I panicked. I truly appreciate Darryl helping me as I was heading back home & did not want to travel on the highway with no mirror. He even offered us to come inside and have a seat while the adhesive cured. After he put the mirror back up, I asked him how much did ... I owe for the service...he said "Just make it back home safe", I was in awe. It is nice to know that there are still some caring people in the world. You have yourselves a very good employee and I thank you again, Mr. Darryl. You don't know how you calmed my nerves, thank you for helping me in my crisis. read more

Received my car back 10 days earlier than expected. That allowed me to turn in my rental car early and save money. The repair to my car was fantastic. My car drives great and looks exceptional. I cannot even tell it was in a wreck. The painter Chad S. did an outstanding job on matching my paint. It is beautiful. Kelly called me twice a week to let me know how things were progressing. I was well pleased with my service.

stopped in to ask about a door alignment issue, and Ray one of the adjusters walked out to take a look at my issue. He asked me for my car keys and said he be right back, only to drive off and never to be seen again, just kidding. checking to see if anyone reads these. Anyway in less than 10 minutes he was back and walked me out to my car, issue resolved. Thank You Ray for being so helpful! Thank You Gerber for employing quality caring help! and thanks to the technician in the shop that made the adjustment!! Thanks to ALL!! I might add that the issue that Ray resolved for me was NOT as a result from shop work completed by Gerber. My connection to Gerber is thru previous work performed at this site , thru my insurer USAA; so again Thanks to both Gerber and USAA

I am a repeat Gerber customer. My initial referral to Gerber was made by my insurance carrier, USAA, for some work not associated with any claim back in 2012. The gentlemen who handled my vehicle's needs were Jon F. and Josh H. Both of them were stellar representatives of your company, and I judged the completed work to be exceptional in quality. Recently, one of our family cars was hit by a flying wooden object while motoring on the 101 freeway. Gerber was again my repair facility of choice. (When USAA recommends a business, it has been my experience that the suggested company is top notch in their field. Once more that proved true.) Four people stand out in my most recent experience with Gerber's customer service and the repair of my car: Cassie B., who took my first phone call and, with a smile in her voice, made my initial appraisal ... appointment. Her welcome of a new customer was both assuring and sincere. She's a great ambassador (either on the phone or in person) for your company. Avery A. personally handled my car's check-in, all the requisite paperwork, watch-dogged the repair process, and, along with Cassie, ran a thorough check of every system before clearing the car for delivery back to me. There was even a glitch in the wood-struck driver's-side door locking mechanism, and she wouldn't let me leave until that last element of the repair was operating smoothly. She's a terrific manager of your Glendale facility. Dave B. was the technician who got his hands dirty repairing my damaged car. On my scheduled pick-up day Dave stayed around after his shift should've been over to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the repair work he had been responsible for. What a telling dedication to job quality and personal integrity. Fortunately for me, when the door locking mechanism glitch was discovered, Dave stayed to make the necessary adjustments until it performed flawlessly. He is another fine representative of Gerber's customer service credo. Finally, but certainly not lastly, praise must also accorded Jeffrey K., my repair's estimator and principle point of contact throughout the repair process. I've been told that USAA's trust in a repair shop is chiefly lodged in the integrity and expertise of the shop's repair estimator, and also that USAA's trust is only earned in proven performance over a length of time. Well, it is readily apparent why Gerber's Glendale shop is recommended by USAA to its membership: Jeffrey K. In every instance of the process, from initial meeting and estimate, through the repair schedule (dynamic because the arrival of the repair parts dictated changes to the original projected repair time), to the day of repaired car delivery, Jeffrey exceeded expectations. He's just that good, that thorough. And when fielding my frequent numerous questions, he graciously gave of his time and expert advice. So besides being a sharp professional, he was also considerate and personable to a customer hungry for information. Regarding my car's windshield replacement, I did not get the chance to meet the Gerber team that replaced the broken-through windshield. The finished job, though, reflects the same high standards found in the entire repair effort. Please accept my thanks to them as well as the four persons I've mentioned above. My car was involved in an accident in Orland Park, IL. I was given the choice of the repair shop to bring my Volkswagen Jetta to. I knew of a Gerber Collision in Orland Park because I have passed by it many times. The folks at this center were wonderful to work with and they made the process easy. The Enterprise rental service was inside the center which worked out great. From the receptionist, to the claims adjuster to the office people, right down to the gentleman who brought my car up, made my experience seamless. And the best part was that the work was done when it was promised. Thanks again for everything!
