From the beginning, the communication from Gerber was instant after my vehicle was towed to their shop after a rear end collision. For someone who has never been in an accident, I had many questions. JW was more than patient and informative on what I should expect. Not only that, he was genuinely concerned about how I was doing after seeing the extreme damage of my truck. Erica, Kim and Jose exceeded every expectation when I dropped my car off to be fixed. Not only is their customer service at the top level, but they also go above and beyond to walk you through the process and keep you updated on the process of your car being fixed. I have been working on my master's degree, so I have let small chores go to the wayside, including cleaning my car. I was so pleasantly surprised to get my car back detailed, washed, and vacuumed out. I was not expecting that at all, so I was so grateful they took the time to make sure my car was not only perfect on the outside but also perfect on the inside. Today my son took his 2011 chevy equinox to get an estimate on a repair to the front valance bumper, & Ron the technician performed the work. He was able to use the original bumper, & attach it to the car. Ron, our technician, refused to accept any payment for his service & kindness to us, & we can not say enough how appreciative we are, especially since my son was laid off from his job, several months ago, & I was going to pay for the repair. I would have no hesitation in recommending GERBER COLLISION to anyone who needs glass/repair services on their cars. We have used GERBER COLLISION several times in the past yrs., on both of our cars. I recently took my car to Buffalo Grove location for an appraisal of my car's recent damage. I talked to Julian, the estimator, and was simply beyond impressed with the professionalism and skills of this gentleman. Julian quickly diagnosed the issue and explained it thoroughly. The repair was completed efficiently to my complete satisfaction. What really stood out was their honesty of Julian -no unnecessary upselling, just quality work done right the first time. It's rare to find a trustworthy and dependable repair shop, but I can say from my experience Gerber at Buffalo Grove is one of them. I Highly recommend this place!
