I am so happy with the quality of service as well as the customer service I received at Gerber on 1060 W Huron Street in Chicago. My car got shot and the frame, door, and windshield had to be replaced. All three employees I worked with (Bob, Jennifer and Chris, I believe) were kind, sympathetic, and did a heck of a job on my car. They said it would take two weeks - they fixed it up in THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS! I dropped it off Friday and they let me pick it up Tuesday. It was so fast I thought it was a mistake at first. When I got it, they let me know they washed it, and also detailed the inside of the car. They absolutely did not need to do that and I am so grateful that they did because having your car get shot isn't fun - they made a stressful situation so easy to navigate. The repair on quarter panel and bumper looks great and Chris Freihaut is pleasant, knowledgeable, responsive, and the antidote to the crude, stupid, and incompetent "customer service" I too often encounter. Plus, Chris has a cool hairdo. (I should add that Chris managed to get the car finished within one week, and the shop was busy). I have no hesitation recommending this shop, especially if you get to deal with Chris (I don't mean to diss any other claims agents there, it's just that I have no experience with them).
