Illinois - Very Professional! They asked if we were ok from our accident! Promised the car in 10 days and finished it in5days!Gave me a rent a car for 5 days! The car looks perfect! Illinois - My mechanic was named Dan, and he did excellent work repairing my windshield. Not only was the repair rate competitive with other surrounding companies, but the service was excellent. Dan came out to my home to repair my windshield, and he arrived at his scheduled time with courtesy and convenience. He explained his repair to me so I understood everything, and he took less than half an hour to do the repair. I could hardly tell that there was a crack; he was more of an artist than a mechanic. What great service, with a warranty I can trust for the future lifespan of my vehicle. Thanks Dan!

Illinois - I would say while Gerber has decent prices their service and quality of work is very questionable. I had them put a windshield in my Jeep Wrangler. Lets face it this is a rather small and positively flat piece of glass. The first time it rained water started running (no not dripping RUNNING in a steady stream into my vehicle thank god its a jeep. I called on a Monday and scheduled a repair on the following Saturday. They called me on a Friday night to tell me that their tech had a family emergency and they were going to come out on Monday. The problem is that isn't possible for my schedule and I will be leaving on a vacation with this vehicle. Their response is basically we will leave you on the list and try to get to you. The thing is I'm driving over 500 miles with a leaking windshield, I'm afraid for as bad as it is leaking ... it isn't even seated in the frame correctly. Which means if I get in and accident my airbags would be worthless. Glad to see yet another company that happily takes you money and fails to care about the quality of work and service they provide after they have your money. Illinois - Service was completed on time. Price was near $100 less than Safelite. Clean up could have been a little better, and one of the pillar covers was not re-installed properly which was corrected next day.

Illinois - This is the second time I used Gerber for windshield service. The first time was a couple of years ago for a full windshield replacement and today for windshield repair. Both times EXCELLENT job, EXCELLENT FRIENDLY service!!! Vicky the person who took my call was very pleasant and did an excellent job scheduling my SUV to get fixed today. The repair person Melissa Perez arrived at the time I was told. She was very pleasant, professional and friendly. She explained exactly what was going to be done and assured me that is was fixable. Melissa did an excellent job and she made me feel like a valued customer and a friend. Awesome job Melissa and Gerber Collision & Glass!! I always tell people you guys are great and I always will recommend you!

Illinois - Your technician replaced my windshield last night and never put my windshield wipers back on! Now I have to drive home from work during a severe thunderstorm warning with no windshield wipers. I called your warranty department and they said they will send somebody out tomorrow! I will never use, or recommend your company to anyone!

Arizona - I thought this Company was really impressive. They get customer service right!! I loved the weekly updates! I have never heard of such a thing & kept telling others about it! Unbelievable in this day and age of everybody rushing through things customer service has taken a back seat but, not with Gerber! I would highly recommend them!

Georgia - I am extremely disappointed with the service. Last Wednesday (11 Jul) I called to schedule an appointment after getting an online quote. I was told at the time that my window would be replaced on Friday. It was not until Friday that I was called back that the glass was not available and that the appointment would need to be rescheduled to Tuesday (today). This morning I was called by the technician and told that he could come out later today. At 5:30, after he had not called back or shown up, I called the number on the website to inquire why I had not heard back. I was told at that time that the appointment had been rescheduled to tomorrow without my awareness. The lady I was talking to (the third one I had been transferred to) told me that she would apply a $20 coupon to my order which I told her I was already planning on using ... since the coupon is readily available at gerberoffers.com and does not have any stipulations except that it had to be a non-insurance repair. Hopefully my window finally gets repaired after several days of rain which it should not have been exposed to. I will not be recommending Gerber due to the lack of communication and punctuality exhibited over the past week. I also hope that there is something else that Gerber can do to make this right since applying a coupon that was already going to be used does not am end the wrongs that have occurred. read more

Illinois - I'm very satisfied with the service provided at south Elgin Gerber. . They not only complete my car in a timely manner, they helped make my car look newer by also buffing up the side that wasn't involved in the accident and fixed my broken side light. I was very happy to see that. Thanks for making a stressful situation easier to deal with. I will definitely recommend you! Special thanks to Jeff for communicating with me in a timely manner.
