From the moment I walked into Gerber for a repair estimate to the time I picked up my car at midnight after coming back from a trip, the collision repair team worked with me to personalize my car repair for me. Foremost, I was rear-ended and didn't realize the person who hit me was responsible for paying damages. During the estimate Gerber explained how to contact the other person's insurance company so I did not have to pay a dollar for the repairs. Once Gerber started fixing my vehicle, they realized the collision caused more damage than they originally estimated- Gerber was able to negotiate with the insurance company to pay for the unforseen damages. Additionally, the mechanic fixed my passenger side visor (which had fallen off) without charging me or the insurance a penny. I was on vacation for 2 weeks when Gerber fixed my car and ... even though the car was fixed in 3 days, Gerber let me keep the car in their lot and call them when I was ready to pick it up. They washed the car, left the receipt/extra key I gave them in the front seat for me, and parked the car out front for me to pick up at midnight when I returned.
