When a situation arises, a repair place can add or help minimize the problem. Well, thank God, for the people at Gerber helping me get through this inconvenienced time. A special Thank You to Jonathan W., for the patience and thorough explanation of how this was going to be handled. A continuous update at the final stages of repair and a calm, polite atmosphere makes the whole process that much easier. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to provide feedback on the wonderful experience I had with your team at the Chicago Halsted location. Unfortunately, someone hit my new Ford Edge (first blemish) so I wasn't exactly excited to have to go through the motions of getting it fixed. However, your team made this experience painless! Aside from waiting for the insurance company to approve the estimate, the time it took your team to get things expedieted is quite frankly impressive! I first met with Chase who was extremely helpful in getting my initial estimate ready to go. He was leaving for vacation so I then worked with Mark who was exceptional to say the least. There was not a thing I needed to worry about and his can-do attitude is bar none. (thank you Mark). I also especially want to recognize DeAnne L., who is truly the ... "face" of your business (on phone and in-person). She works at the desk and not only stayed in touch with me throughout, but continually worked proatively on various issues throughout the process to ensure satisfaction. She is EXACTLY the kind of person you want working for you. Extremely friendly, professional and caring. It is not fun to have to go through the process, but without a doubt, she made a huge difference (thank you DeAnne). She and Mark deserve a big star!! My daughters Camry was in for repairs due to an accident. The work was done perfectly. When I dropped it off I asked about another car that needed a gas cover installed. Instead of an estimate they installed it in 5 minutes at no cost. What great service. Thank you Bob S.

What a great experience! I went in because our sunroof would not close. The gentleman tried to close it and then informed me they would need to order a part. When the part came in I received a friendly phone call from Deanna that the part had "landed." I like her sense of humor! I went in with my 2 year old daughter and the entire staff welcomed us. I never once felt like I was a burden on the staff with my daughter. There was a little car to play with, we were provided a poster size paper as well as marker. The other wonderful young lady at the front, I know I am going to misspell her name, I believe Fatiz, even entertained my daughter for a few minutes. Both ladies are hard workers and super friendly. The technician was awesome and so was the gentleman who gave our estimate. They were both so professional and friendly. Our ... sunroof now closes without problem. What I really like too is that the gentleman told me that since the motor is older on the sunroof, we probably shouldn't open and close it too much because it could wear out again or the roof could misalign again. He then said they would be more than happy to fix it again but just not to overdo the open and closing. My daughter and I were treated like family. I highly recommend Gerber and will go to them for all our auto needs. Thank You! read more

The people were nice. The service advisor in charge of my inspection was Marcus. He explained everything nicely. Everything was taken care of well. There was some minor dusting needed with the visors, but everything else was good.

The service at this location is completely awesome. From the time of having my insurance provider assign the claim to Gerber until the time I left the door with my repaired vehicle, I was satisfied. The entire process was clear, communicated to me, and the work done on my vehicle was perfect. The staff was extremely polite and sincere. The estimator, Tom, has got to be one of the best in Chicago. Also, a laborer named Kurt was extremely polite at the time of my exit. When I noticed some cosmetic scratches not related to my insurance claim, Kurt offered to take the car back in and buff it out. Kick ass team you have here.
