We had a great experience with Gerber from the moment we walked into the door. Romeo and Mike were very helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. We were planning on going with the Toyota dealership but the convenience of the location and the connection with State Farm, made us choose Gerber. All of the staff was incredibly nice and very helpful. Even when I wasn't able to make it on time to pick up my car, there was still someone there able to release it after hours. The repair on my bumper was flawless and they were even nice enough to repair my mirror for free since I couldn't afford a full replacement. When getting my car back it looked better than when I got it off the lot. Even the interior of my car was spotless. I'm very impressed with this company and will definitely go back for any other auto body work. Their pricing is very cheap for how good of a job they do, they saved me a lot of stress getting it done so fast.

To upper management or who it may concern, Hello, my name is Tom B. and I would like to tell my first experience at Gerber Collison & Glass. Let me start by letting you know that I recently purchased my first new car that I absolutely love. Just like anyone with a new car, I take great care of it and I am aware of every inch of the vehicle and even do the occasional walk around inspection. Unfortunately I have recently discovered two small surface scratches on my car. You can only know how this made me feel. One day after work I stopped in at an auto parts store and purchased a scratch remover... which of course did nothing. Then when I was driving home I drove past one of your facilities and decided to give you guys a call. When I did call I was wondering about an estimate and more information. I spoke with a gentleman named Maurice ... Bell and he was very helpful and told me that I should come in the next day. I let him know that I wouldn't be able to arrive until after 5:00 pm due to work. He was very understandable and told me to come in around that time would be fine (founding out later that they close at 5:00 pm by looking online. So basically they were accommodating my time, which was very nice of them and I really do appreciate it.) So I did arrive to the Melrose Park, IL facility and met with Maurice. He was very polite and I showed him the scratches on the car and he explained that he would take my car and have the technicians take a looks and possibly make a price quote. Less than 15 minutes later he arrived back with the car and told me that they were able to buff out the scratches and he would he wouldn't charge me. I was blown away. The work that was done was amazing and I would like to thank Maurice, the technician, and also Gerber Collison & Glass. The customer service that I experience was exceptional and rare is the auto business. You have gained a customer and I will advise my friends and family to also go to Gerber Collison & Glass for any future service. Again, thank you and keep up the great work!!! read more

Service was estimated to take 2 days but was completed in 1 day. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. I showed up a minute after 530pm to pick up my car and did not feel rushed or that the staff was annoyed. Overall excellent experience with great communication. Will definitely recommend!

The downers Grove location did a good job as usual and the car was delivered on time. when I first inspected the car at the time of pickup I asked them to replace the wheel valve stem cover and buff some scratches which Luis did right away. Once I drove the car I immediately noticed that the car steering wheel now must be pulled right to keep the car straight so I will have to bring the Acura back to have the aligned redone. If not for that, I would give them 5 stars.

Had a scrape/dent repaired, also had some warranty work done for another accident one year ago (also completed at this location). Scrape/dent work was completed after a couple of days, however visible paint curing lines was apparent. Rework to remove the paint curing lines was scheduled and took a single day under warranty. I really appreciate how they stand by their work for both warranty repairs!
