I delivered my car, which had been drastically rear-ended, to your College Avenue operation for an estimate of the repair cost, and its repair. Jason was very friendly and sympathetic, and explained in very understandable language what repair of the visible damage would require. He also made clear that detailed examination of the underneath and the "innards" of the car might reveal further repair needs. As it turned out, such further inspection revealed damage, which made the car unrepairable. And yes, we live in Michigan City, Indiana and rather go there than anywhere else.

Estimator Tommy S. did an outstanding job for me. He thoroughly explained his estimate for the repair, gave me specific information about the time required to finish the job, and kept me informed of the status daily. He also notified me of the repair parts not needed after inspection and the reduction to the estimate that resulted. The finished product was perfect, and my car was immaculate when I picked it up. If I ever again need my car repaired, I will definitely come back to Gerber and Tommy S!

I would like to give this facility 10 stars! I have never had such pleasant and helpful service from any other auto repair/maintenance facility. From Sandra at the front desk to Humberto C. who walked me through the initial process to manager Matt H., who went over the repairs when I picked up the car, I couldn't have felt more like a valuable customer. Their consistent attentiveness turned an aggravating experience into an acceptable process. They even managed to get the work done so quickly that I didn't have to rent a car. I believe excellent service is tied to the philosophy and practices of the manager and that Matt deserves a special commendation for the overall excellence of his staff and their work.
