My decision to select the Gerber location in Skokie was based primarily on convenience and only secondarily on reputation. My wife's Honda CRV had been T-boned by someone running a red-light and I assumed that it was going to be written-off. She had loved the car but could not imagine getting back in it after what had happened. When Allstate decided to proceed with the repairs, and not write it off due to the low mileage, our plan was to sell the car as soon as it was repaired. In fact, we purchased a replacement. When we did get our CRV back, the Gerber operation there had done such a great job that my wife insisted I take her "new" car so she could drive the CRV again. Quick, fast, and efficient! The repairman came to my house and replaced the glass right on the spot. He was professional and courtesy, although, it was one of the hottest day in Illinois. I was very happy with the work.

Gerber was very quick to repair my car after I was rear ended, and I had my car back the day after they picked it up despite needing multiple large parts. They went above and beyond and returned my car fully washed and cleaned on the inside as well. Gerber and my insurance company were seamless in coordinating the repairs on my car and getting me a rental in the meantime. Would definitely recommend!
