I want to thank Bob Laster and the techs at Gerber/Rt 59 Aurora for going the extra mile in providing service after the repair. By way of background, in November 2011, I had some minor rear bumper paint damage repaired on my 2008 VW EOS. The work was absolutely first-rate; however, shortly afterwards I began to hear an occasional odd sound from the rear, and after eliminating the obvious causes (such as an unsecured tool box) I brought the car in to see if something needed to be tightened or tweaked. I freely admitted up front that I had no idea if this was related to the repair work or if it was something for my VW dealer to address under warranty. Bob accommodated me on setting up an appointment to bring the car in on my mid-week day off. It wasn't an easy sound to hear, but they did and after a good amount of time, they found the cause, and I am pleased to report, it had nothing to do with the repairs. Instead, in a hard to see corner of the spare tire compartment, they found two tow rods that somehow had become loose and would move back and forth, depending on car turns, acceleration, etc. This was brilliant detective work and I applaud Bob and the tech for their perseverance. More importantly, it shows that you really do stand behind the Service Guaranteed pledge even, as it turned out, if my problem had absolutely nothing to do with the repair. Great customer service. I wont to take the time out to let whom ever at Gerber Collision know that I personally ran into the best,most genually honest,nicest guy EVER in my lifetime.(and thats a pretty big statement) of customer service.At Gerber collision of south holland.His name is JOSE ROMO.I unfortunately had to bring my car in for service thinking my insurance would cover the damage.But they did not.I then was under the stress of trying to fiigure out what to do,To get the car fixed,or buy a new car.Gerber let me speak to JOSE.who was the one who look at the car with liberty Mutual.The said that the transfer case had a crack in it.To the tune of thousands of dollars.Jose talk to me,explained everthing liberty mutual founf out.I call him back SEVERAL time.He kept saying NO problem,I'll help you.What ever you need.Even when I thought I would consider salvage.He said he would call around for me.He told me my car was'nt really in bad shape.I just needed the transfer case,not the whole transmission.I call him the next day.He sent me the photos of the damages via email,I came in the next day.He took me behind to his desk,sat down and expalin each and every photo.This guy went over and beyond the call of duty.He told me if there was ANYTHING he could ever help with to not hesitate to call him.I tell you if that does not exude the most perect customer service,I dont know what is.I like to say JOSE you ARE the BEST.To those all Gerber Collision of South Holland.IF I ever know anyone who is in need of there car repaired.I will definitely recommend,GERBER COLLISION OF SOUTH HOLLAND BECAUCE OF JOSE ROMO...Thanks JOSE. All I can say is WOW! Novemeber 2010, someone rear-ended me on the expressway and that was my first experience with you. I arrived at your place and Raul came out, gave a VERY ACCURATE estimate, and the car was completed on time and on budget. Enterprise Rent-A-Car was equally as co-operative. So when I was rear-ended again in December of 2011, my first (and only thought) was to go to Gerber on Halsted. I called up and was REALLY happy to see Raul was still the "man" there. I brought the car in and again the estimate was exactly what the car repair was! The only thing that was different was that my car was completed in 24 hours instead of the 3 days that was originally estimated. Raul knew that I was paying for the rental "out of pocket" so he said he told the body shop to kinda jump on my car quickly so I wouldn't have to pay as much on the rental. He saved me $90 in car rental fees by getting the car to me early! Thank you so much. You guys rock! Anyone that tells me they need bodywork done on their car...I always tell them "Gerber on Halsted"!

i HAVE HAD A FEW ACCIDENTS IN my life and they were never as pleasant as th is time when it came to fixing my car, , I took my car in to Gerber Collision -in Orland park, I was amazed at the service provided, I took my car in a Monday morning, and I was beyond thrilled when they called to say my car was ready that same week on WEDNESDAY!! I mean this was faster than an OIL change !! this place rocks...they fixed my car, vaccumed it, washed it.....awesome I would recommend them to all my friends and I have !! thanks Gerber I'm sure glad I chose you to fix my car, ps: i didnt have a ride home when I dropped it off and they took me home....

Gerber Collision and Glass have done an excellent job with the repairs needed on my Ford Mustang. The staff was very diligent and paid very close attention to detail. Although I was without my vehicle for longer than anticipated, they would not release my vehicle to me without it being 100%. I was informed of any updates from the very friendly staff who at all times were professional and very helpful anytime we came in contact. I would HIGHLY reccommend any insurance agency and/or customer to go through Gerber Collision and Glass for any repairs they may need.

We had the BEST customer service with your staff at Gerber. Kim was very professional and friendly. Meg was also very helpful, friendly and curteous. (Even Hector was sweet). This is the 1st time I have ever had to use a collision repair company. I had contacted Geico at 7:30am by 9 the tow truck was at my house and with in a few hours Kim had contacted me. They estimated that the following Friday the car would be done. Even with a delay with Audi parts they came through. We picked up our car on Friday 1/27. I would highly recommend Gerber Collision to anyone who needs their service. I can be your new Walking Salesperson! After getting rear-ended two weeks ago, I decided to get my car repaired by Gerber Collision, near my home in Skokie (and based on a recommendation from GMAC Insurance). From the initial phone call to the completed repairs, the customer service was outstanding. Within a minute of arriving at Gerber, David Martinez promptly introduced himself and estimated the damage, walking me through the entire process. He called me several times during the week for status updates and returned the car right on schedule, and in immaculate condition. This was my fifth experience with auto body repair and by far the best. The receptionists, David and the repair crew helped turn an unfortunate situation into a great one for me. Thank you!

We have gone to the Gerber location in Redmond twice now for non-accident related repairs to the exterior of our car. They are extremely friendly, do good work very quickly, and we have NEVER felt like they were trying to cheat us or over charge us; if the actual labor hours and parts needed to do the job come out to less than the initial quote, that is all they bill you for! Would highly recommend this shop to anyone. Keep up the good work!
